The aluminum dock plates from Discount Ramps.Com are specifically made for low to medium volume dock loading applications. With a 11° lip bend, these dockplates are ideal for pallet trucks or other non-powered equipment. Machine beveled deck edges painted blue allow for smooth transition. The aluminum dock plates come in 2 capacity ranges, A & B. The "A" models are lighter with a 3/8" thick plate and have a lower weight capacity. The "B" models are a bit heavier then the "A" model with a 1/2" thick plate, and also have a higher weight capacity. An option of a longer 14" lip for refrigerated applications is available upon request. To determine the weight capacity of dock plate you will need, calculate the weight of the equipment being used plus the heaviest load that the dock plate will accommodate.
There are many optional accessories to choose from for your new aluminum dock plate. There are lifting chains for allowing the transportation of your dock plate with a fork lift. Loop handles can be welded onto the plates legs for easy handling. Also available is the EZ-Roll! This device bolts onto the sides of the dock plate ( drilling required on dock plates ) and allows for easy one person maneuvering without lifting the dock plate! When not in use the EZ-Roll folds up and self stores on the sides of the dock plate or dock board!
