Load your trike safely and hassle-free with the Big Boy III Trike Ramp System. The Big Boy is the most versatile trike loading ramp in the industry. Constructed out of aircraft grade aluminum, the effective 3-piece design is available in 4 different lengths from 96" long to 144" for extended wheelbase trikes (For some custom trikes, wood blocks may need to be placed at the end of the ramps to ensure clearance of exhaust pipes). The 3 19" wide folding ramps provide the width and center track you need to safely load a trike, whether it's a custom Harley Trike or a Can-Am Spyder. The extra width is also ideal for loading any type of motorcycle into a truck or trailer such as sportbikes, cruisers, Boss Hoss, and touring motorcycles. The trike ramps include four quick connecting support brackets that eliminate ramp flex and hold the two ramps together while loading and unloading. This clamp system allows the ramps to be separated quickly by pulling a spring clip on the support bracket allowing you to store the ramps neatly in a pick-up truck bed, inside the cab of a truck, or in the garage. The heavy duty hinge design allows each ramp to fold down to half it's size for storage while not compromising any structural integrity. The hinge also has a 12° offset which makes the ramp act like an arched ramp providing maximum ground clearance, eliminating bottoming out when loading into pick-up truck bed or if you have a lowered bike. The 3-3/4" ramp end features a solid flat plate/hook combo to help keep the ramps square when loading. Each ramp features a tapered foot with an extruded traction surface that creates a smooth loading approach at almost any angle. The extruded foot also has a built in radius that will pivot on different vehicle load heights and can safely be used on 10" or higher trailers or trucks. Included with every Big Boy III Trike Ramp System are three heavy duty adjustable cam buckles that secure the ramp to the vehicle, preventing them from "kicking out" while loading. Additional traction is provided by the ribbed cross rungs that are evenly spaced at 3-5/8" apart. For added stability and safety the Alumi-Loc Attaching System is highly recommended.
