The Bike Rack Adapter extends an existing 2" hitch receiver for added clearance when transporting bicycles using a bike carrier rack system. Simply insert the 8.25" bike rack adapter into the receiver hitch, secure in place with the included pinch bolt, insert the bike carrier, and keep it in place with the built-in receiver bolt-style stabilizer. This extension system is rated at a maximum capacity of 225 lbs (including bicycles on the carrier with the carrier) and comes in a durable black powder coat finish. Complete with a 1 year manufacturer's warranty against product defects.
