5 Stars Easy to assemble and use

Chris from CA wrote (September 10, 2016):

Great service - from purchase to delivery was five days. Can't beat the price and is much more convenient than trailer. Took 90 minutes to assemble on my work bench. Here is a tip: Don't tighten anything until it is all together just to make sure everything is lined up. Its a little heavy for an old timer like me but once it is on the car, it is easy to use.

5 Stars Easy to Use and Sturdy

JB from CO wrote (July 27, 2016):

Assembly was easy. Carrier is stable and easy to get bike on it by myself. Carrier fits perfectly on my 2006 Toyota 4Runner. No complaints.

5 Stars RV Trip

Dana Park from NH wrote (July 26, 2016):

This worked out well for taking a scooter along on a cross country RV trip. The ramp makes for easy on/off loading & unloading of the scooter/moped.

5 Stars Awesome

Sebastian from FL wrote (March 30, 2016):

This product works really well with m car. Saves me a lot of time than having to put the bike on top of the var. Thank you so much for selling this. It's affordable and easy to install.

3 Stars Not for 50CC Scooters

Preston from FL wrote (March 03, 2016):

Loved the quick delivery, fast turnaround time on the order. The price was right. The instructions were horrible at best, picture was very deceiving wording very difficult to understand, tell you to do one step then redo it after it is all put together on the vehicle. No idea how much to torque bolts, I tend to break bolts without torque specs. None of the parts were labeled: 4 bolts # 6, 4 bolts #15 no idea of size nor which one to use. I ended up laying all nuts and bolts out and pre fit each size before continuing. Once on the vehicle the anti tip ring did not fit over my hitch, installed it backwards and sorta worked. Could not line up any of the wheel holders so I had to make do with too large a drop in front and too small in rear. None of the tire holding pins lined up with the tires. Ratchet strapped three points of contact, drove over some severe bumps and it held up fine. Original intent was to put scooter on the back of a towed camper, works fine on the van, but questionable on a camper. Will work for the little I will need it.

5 Stars Super

Could not be happier. Great price and excellent product. Delivery time was good also. Thanks

5 Stars Confusionless

Lloyd from UT wrote (December 17, 2015):

Bought it for the price and warranty. Took me right at two hours to put it together, but only because of its weight and I move slowly. Worked very well for the 2100 mile trip, so I will use it again.

5 Stars Very Impressed

Robert from NY wrote (December 15, 2015):

Easy to assemble and was way more stable then I thought it would be. I was more nervous about the straps coming loose while trailering my KTM530 then the carrier itself. Instead of lugging around my 8x8 trailer, I just mount this carrier to the truck with a locking pin and can go anywhere. For the price, this is a very convenient purchase and would def recommend to all.

4 Stars Motorcycle Carrier

Devon from CA wrote (October 21, 2015):

I bought the carrier to transport my Vespa to get it repaired. It was the cheapest one available. Made in China but overall good quality. Sturdy. Some paint missing on the carrier, probably came off during shipping. The hitch support to prevent the carrier from swaying back and forth doesn't fit the hitch on my car and I'm not sure how it would work even if it did fit as there were no instructions on how to mount it. Installation instruction to put the carrier together is just a drawing but easy to figure out. Took only 15 minutes to put together. Overall, for the money, you get a nice carrier, with good capacity to hold a motorcycle. Would have preferred to buy American for great quality (better stabilizer design and paint quality) but I got exactly all I needed.

5 Stars Great product at a good price.

Brad from KS wrote (July 22, 2015):

Just getting into dirt bikes with my son and needed a carrier for our KDX. I researched many options and found this carrier at a significantly discounted price from the others I was considering. Called customer service for some detailed product info on the carrier and recommendations on strapping systems. Very helpful and knowledgeable. Ordered this unit and straps and they arrived quickly. Assembly is simple, good quality welds, solid design for my needs. I would recommend this carrier and Discount Ramps. Great buying experience!

5 Stars Great Product & company!

My lucky day when I found discount I called everywhere for a hitch carrier. No one had them at any price. Discounts Ramps was wonderful. Helpful staff, very fast delivery and very very good price. This ramp exactly as advertised. I can not say enough how pleased I am with the product and Discount Ramps!!!!

4 Stars Seems to work...but be careful!

Andrew from IL wrote (June 25, 2015):

Fits good and was easy to put together, seems to be strong steel. However, when loading/unloading you should be cautious. If you are on a slope or pressure is applied on the handle bars, the bike will easily slip off the carrier. Otherwise, its good!!

5 Stars Very solid and good price

5 Stars Great price awesome product

Jennifer from OR wrote (June 09, 2015):

Easy to assemble not too heavy. Husband loved it.

4 Stars Great price and reliability

Justin from KS wrote (May 27, 2015):

Installation was easy, if your handy with a toolset. I gave the carrier four stars, because the anti tilt bracket cannot be installed the proper way on my 2010 Equinox. Part of the bumper comes in contact with the bracket, so I just turned the bracket upside down. Works just fine. I just finished up a 600 mile trip this last weekend no problems. Honda cr and I also strapped down my gas can to the unit plenty of room.

4 Stars Good Buy for Price

4 Stars Great Price for s great convenience

Andrew T. from GA wrote (April 03, 2015):

I love the fact that motorcycle transport can be so cheap! what a sturdy product and the PRICE! You simply cannot beat it. my only concerns are: 1. The "powder coat" is applied very conservatively. I highlight powder coat because I do not believe this is true powder coat, my carrier has already started rusting and I haven't even transported my bike anywhere lengthy yet. If you do not have a heavier bike, I recommend the aluminum product that DR sells. 2. Hardware, this is a concern of mine as the entire operation hinges upon the strength and durability of the hardware included. My hardware was defective, on a good not, DR sent out a replacement set upon request. I hope this one works. Consider putting a light coating of oil on the bolts before attaching the hardware, or you might have the same problem All in all a great price for such a helpful commodity. Second-to-none customer service, and a useful tool for all bike owners. That said, this is kind of a "get what you pay for" product.

5 Stars Works for my scooter

Kevin Dover from MN wrote (March 30, 2015):

Easy assembly. Missing bolt quickly shipped. Holds my Kymco super 8 150 nicely, but don't count on the wheel pins. I'm not sure how these would ever work... Redundant ratchet straps with suspension compressed works well. Great price!

4 Stars Solid Hauler

Dustin K from WA wrote (March 27, 2015):

I decided to try one of these carriers out. I like to be able to keep the canopy of my truck on and still be able to haul a bike. I didn't want to spend the money on a trailer so I figured I'd give this one a shot. Assembly was easy and didn't take long. Comes with an anti sway device which is nice. The carrier did make the rear of my truck sag a bit with my DRZ400 on it. This is to be expected with that much weight behind the rear axle. Hauling my bike on freeways and around corners made me a bit uneasy at first because it's weird seeing the bike swaying in the rearview. I pulled over to assure everything was locked down and solid. This is a nice carrier for the price. I like that the ramp can go on either end. It's nice to be able to fire up the bike when you're by yourself and just ease it off the carrier. The wheel drops a ways down to nest in the tray so it's difficult to get it out sometimes.

5 Stars Motorcycle carrier

Wade from WI wrote (January 14, 2015):

I bought this carrier to transport my DRZ400. It worked great. Easy to assemble ( yes there is a bit of assemby) and easy to load bike on. This is a great product for the price. I was also lucky enough to be local that they allowed me to pick it up at there warehouse. Saved me the shipping cost and received great customer service. Would not hesitate to buy from them again.
