Swimmers appreciate the convenience and safety of this stainless boat ladder. Each ladder step is wrapped in rubber treads for sure footing, while handrails and a fiberglass platform make boarding easier. When not in use, the ladder flips back onto the platform, out of the water and out of the way.
Telescoping ladders are attached to a fiberglass swim platform that makes boarding a marine vessel much easier. The 3 and 4-step stainless steel ladders both come with a 1 year warranty.
The telescoping boat ladder makes boarding from the water a much easier process. The Harbor Mate transom ladder is made of durable grade 304 stainless steel that holds weight in the vertical position, a typical problem with rope ladders that flex and pinch toes and fingers when weight is applied. The telescoping boat ladder is long enough to prevent swimmers from having to make an uncomfortable reach when boarding, unlike one step ladders.
The three-step ladder adjusts from 15" – 33 1/4" and the four-step ladder adjusts from 16-1/2" – 44-1/8". The ladder comes attached to a fiberglass platform that helps swimmers board after a quick dip. When not in use, the ladder compactly flips out of the water and onto the platform.
The transom ladder and platform combo mounts to the back of a vessel with stainless steel rails. This system can be mounted with both 7/8" handrails, or the alternative one side rail. Extra stainless steel hardware is provided for the one side rail option and consists of a 90° bracket and an 7/8" angled brace that stabilizes the platform to the boat.
Each step is wrapped with treaded rubber that gives traction to those entering and exiting the marine vessel. When not in use, an included Velcro strap keeps the telescoping steps from deploying. To avoid injury, the boat ladder cannot exceed the 300 lb weight capacity.
Hardware is included and drilling is required for installation.

5 Stars Solid Ladder

Was surprised to see how well this ladder is made. Solid platform built for durability, not just a fiberglass shell, but "solid" construction. Heavy duty Stainless Steal hand rails and ladder assembly. Built to last. Was able to use both handrails with my outboard motor. Plenty of room to install away from motor. Fits beautifully on my shallow transom with the platform sitting just above the water line. Would strongly recommend this unit to be looked at!
