The GearWagon 125 mini camper trailer is a cozy 3-4 season camper, as well as a handy utility trailer and toy hauler all-in-one. A hard, double-walled polyethylene shell with foam injected base, along with 10-year rated marine grade fabric keeps the trailer interior cool in summer and warm in the off season. Lightweight, the tent trailer can be pulled by nearly any tow rated car as well. When not being used as a camper, the trailer has a bed large enough to carry an ATV or motorcycle, or up to 1,000 lbs of cargo.
Interior and Tent
Open the door of the tent vestibule, and you'll be greeted with a surprisingly spacious interior. The main tent has its own screen door, allowing fresh air inside, rain or shine, when used with the vestibule installed. Inside the GearWagon mini camper, a large sleeping platform rests on molded-in trailer sidewalls, allowing space underneath to store essential camping supplies. Screen windows on each side let in light and provide more fresh air. The lid of the camper trailer also has a built-in solar powered ventilator, able to run on battery power for up to 44 hours without sunlight, to help keep air circulating. In the colder months, the lid has a support bracket to hang a portable heater on (not included).
When it's time to pack up, the tent and vestibule fit into their own storage bags, and the sleeping platform breaks down, storing along the sides of the trailer. This makes the GearWagon 125 trailer ready to carry cargo, with a bed large enough to haul an ATV or motorcycle, as well as other cargo. C-channel tracks are built into the floor, providing a convenient place to mount tie down rings or other accessories. The optional bicycle mount hardware kit (sold separately) also installs to these tracks. If extra space is needed, the load bearing endgate and trailer lid are both removable.
Exterior and Running Gear
The GearWagon 125 mini camper has a grey polyethylene base, and white ABS lid, which raises easily with struts. On the back of the trailer is a complete LED lighting system, which connects to the tow vehicle with a standard flat-four connector. Underneath, the GearWagon 125 camper trailer pulls smoothly with rubber dampened torsion-axle suspension and standard 13" wheels and tires, suitable for use on and off road. Rear leveler jacks, with an included hitch jack keep the trailer stable when occupied.
