The Hitch-Mounted Bike Carrier conveniently carries 2 to 4 bicycles. This bike rack is loaded with features such as a swing down system that allows you to open your rear hatch of an SUV or wagon, or lower the tailgate of a pick up truck without removing the bikes or the carrier. The distance from hitch pin to end of the bicycle rack in the swing-down position is 49" for the HMBC-2 and 51-1/2" for the HMBC-4. Includes an integrated pinch hitch pin to ensure a tight, wobble free connection with the receiver. HMBC-2 & HMBC-4 will not work with locking hitch pin because of the integrated pinch bolt.

The heavy duty bike carrier is constructed of 1" steel tubing and plastic end pieces with reflectors. Four rubber frame holders have layered fins and long Velcro straps to ensure your bike is secure to the carrier. The hitch bike rack swings down with a flick of a metal clip. Once swung down, it is easier to get in the back of hatchbacks, SUVs, or pick-ups and can be done in seconds. The specially designed hitch device allows you to put this bike carrier on II, III, & IV class hitches. Just remove the plastic piece and your carrier will slide into a Class 2 receiver.
