The Hitch-Mounted Bike Carrier conveniently carries 2 bicycles in class II, III, or IV hitches. This bike rack is loaded with features, such as a swing down system that allows access to the rear hatch of an SUV or wagon, or the ability to lower the tailgate of a pick up truck with the carrier installed (Removing the bicycles from the rack before lowering is highly recommended).
The distance from the hitch pin to end of the bicycle rack in the swing-down position is 49". The heavy duty bike carrier is constructed of strong 1" steel tubing. Four rubber frame holders have layered fins and long Velcro fastening straps to ensure the bikes are secure on the carrier. Each 2 bike carrier has a specially designed hitch adapter allowing this bike carrier to be used on class II, III, & IV hitches while an integrated pinch hitch pin ensures a tight, wobble free connection with the receiver.
