The leader of the pack, the Alpha 3-bike carrier from Kuat is easy to use and makes loading your bicycles an easy task. With an all-aluminum construction, the Alpha carrier is lightweight, weighing only 13 pounds. The thick white or black chrome powder-coating looks great and is labeled with Kuat stickers, proving that this carrier is high-quality. Load up to 3 bicycles on to the adjustable cradles that form to your bike frame. The special cradle design wedges into the crevice on the bicycle frame and then sandwiches the frame to secure it. An integrated bike lock stores inside the bike carrier frame and pulls out to lock the very last bike for theft deterrent. Securing the Alpha bike carrier into your 2" receiver is easily done with the hand tightening cam that puts pressure on the inside of the receiver for a wobble-free fit. A locking hitch pin is also included to deter theft. Two plastic knobs on the vertical support bar take out the rest of the free play to prevent any left-over wobbling. Easily fold up the Alpha bike carrier to a compact size for storage. Every Alpha carrier from Kuat comes with 2 keys for each lock (bike lock and locking hitch pin) as well as a bottle opener.
