L-Rack Roof Rack System

Transport 2 smaller kayaks or a single large kayak effeciently using the Apex L-Rack system. Mounting to a vehicle's exisiting roof cross bars up to 1-1/2" wide, the L-Rack provides two stable tie-down points for strapping a kayak down. Installation does not require tools. Simply assemble the mounting plates, L-Rack carriers, and tighten with the Easy-Turn knobs to secure the system in place. The kit is comprised of two 13½" x 1¾" x 3" flat-steel carriers featuring a high-density foam jacket to prevent nicks, scratches and dents. Also included are two 8 ft. cargo straps with heavy-duty locking clasps, made to fit the L-Rack carriers, providing stable wrap-around support. The Apex L-Rack can be secured to cross bars with a maximum size of 2-1/2"W x 1-3/4"H or 1-3/4"W x 2-3/8"H and a minimum size of 2-1/2"W x 1/2"H or 1-1/2"W x 1-1/4"H.The L-Rack comes with a 1 Year Warranty.

*Note: This product is not intended for use with "round bar" roof rack systems and it's highly recommened to use front and rear straps (not included) to ensure proper kayak transport safety.
