The two bar minivan roof rack models from Vantech are a universal fit for midsize vans and minivans. High and low profile models are available for the times when clearance may be a concern. To keep a tight, precise seal between the mounting bases and uprights, Vantech uses machine welding. The mounting uprights have two eyehooks each that act as tie-down anchor points. The H1 Series feature extended mounting uprights that act as side rails, preventing material from sliding off of a rack. The uprights also have rubber caps that prevent water build-up and wind noise during travel. The steel van roof racks are mounted to included interior mounting plates and require drilling. A 5" ladder stopper is included that mounts to the front cross bar and stops the forward momentum of ladders when stops are sudden. A 5-1/2" ladder guide is provided to act as an extra tie-down point. The ladder guide can be adjusted to any place on the cross bar with the help of easy turn knobs. Plastic bar guard strips come with the the minivan racks and are applied to the cross bars like a tape. The bar guards help lift roof top cargo off of the cross bars, extending the life of the bars. An EZ Velcro strap is included with the purchase of the H1 Series minivan rack. The looping end is inserted around the cross bar while the opposite end wraps around the rungs of a ladder. EZ Velcro straps have a maximum weight capacity of 75 lbs. All H1 Series racks are finished in a choice of a protective black or white powder coating.
