Tilt-a-Rack Mobility Scooter Carrier

The new Lightweight Aluminum Tilt-a-Rack^® Scooter Carrier is easy to install and use. There are no electronic components that might fail and it operates by a natural force, gravity! Gravity and balance work for you!

The tilt feature eliminates the need for ramps. Just pull out the deck extension ramp, remove a safety clip, and pull the tilt handle, and the rack tilts toward the passenger side. It conveniently reaches the curb for parallel parking. The deck extender pulls out from beneath the scooter, reducing the angle of incline. This feature is especially helpful when a handicap curb is not available. The solid deck carrier surface will protect the underside of the scooter or power wheelchair from the outdoor elements. The pinch bolt eliminates the minute movement of the hitch bar when inside the hitch receiver. There are many optional accessories available to customize your Tilt-a-Rack carrier.

Wheelchair Carrier Product Limitations:

• Carrier Carrying Capacity: Never exceed the maximum rated weight capacity of the wheelchair carrier
• Hitch Weigh Limit: Most Class III hitches are rated for 500 lbs; most Class IV hitches are rated for 1000 lbs
• Vehicle Hauling Capacity: Your hauling weight may be limited by your vehicle's capacity to carry a load
• Some vehicles may require air shocks or heavier springs to stiffen up the suspension to prevent sagging
• Please check with your dealer to find out if your vehicle's carrying capacity
• NOT recommended for tow-behind trailers including 5th wheel trailers and camping trailers

Most Class II hitches are typically rated at 350 lbs, Class III hitches are 500 lbs (Please refer to capacity sticker on the trailer hitch). Some vehicles may require air shocks or other modifications to the vehicles suspension. Please check your owners manual for vehicle hauling capabilities.
