Aluminum Rail Spanners are deployed quickly to easily move equipment and cargo over gaps between rail cars, tandem truck beds, and storage containers. Rail spanners create a bridge from the rail car, container, or flatbed directly to a loading dock for custom material and heavy equipment handling. Each aluminum rail spanner attaches to the surface area with a strong 2" blunt-end stub toe design for varying deck heights and a reinforced 3" tapered safety kick plate. Spacing between the bridge spanner beams is designed to accept heavy chain and large tie-downs to reduce bridge spanner shifting during operation. Robust quality construction tailored to meet the needs of the U.S. Military. Made with 6061 T6 or 6005 T6 aluminum built to last in any weather condition. Standard versions have a maximum 25,000 lb capacity and a 24" usable width. Higher capacity and custom sizes are available by calling 1-888-651-3431 for custom orders.
