5 Stars Well worth the money

Tom Atcheson from GA wrote (August 18, 2016):

I read the reviews on this rack then decided to give it a try. Glad I did. It works wonderfully. Very easy to assemble and comes on and off the car with ease. I like the straps going through the car as it make me a lot more comfortable when hauling my kayaks. I talked to a man at a launching ramp that had just had a clamp down rack fly off his auto (with two kayaks attached). He really liked mine. I gave him Discount Ramps contact info. Hope he followed through.

4 Stars Car top bar carriers

Roger Simon from MI wrote (July 26, 2016):

Solidly built, thought the straps might not hold but doing fine. Don't like the minimal rubber pads for the feet. Need more permanent rubber feet. I am going to superglue mine on. Good value for the money.

5 Stars Great Product / Fantastic Service

Dan from IN wrote (May 06, 2016):

I recently purchased this roof rack to carry blow up pontoon boats on the roof of a 2006 Malibu Maxx. I received the order within 3 days of ordering. As I pulled the contents out of the box and began inspecting them, I noticed that one of the feet had a large crack in it. I contacted Discount Ramps the next day, I received an email from them stating they would send the replacement part immediately. Although I haven't used it yet, I can tell you that the rack itself seems to be very solid and well built. I am happy with the product as well as the service.

These cross bars work great easy to install and work on both my vehicles.. ....

4 Stars good and easy to use

Tony from FL wrote (January 09, 2016):

Once I got the measurements for the roof and got the rack to the right length, it was a pretty easy to put on car. It never felt like I had it tightened all the way, but it was. (I was probably paranoid) And it worked great. I think I am going to glue the pads to the bottom of the bar holders cause they don't always want to stay. They held 2 kayaks very well! which I just bought as well. Overall, I am hapy with my rack!

4 Stars Portable adjustable roof rack

bob from WA wrote (July 29, 2015):

This fit on my 2013 Prius and seems to be pretty stout. I mounted my Thule Cargo box to it...No whistle sounds at high speed and no vibration noted.

1 Star I bet these would've been awesome!

Unhappy from IN wrote (July 27, 2015):

Ordered and was sent email confirmation. Anxiously awaited their delivery. When that did not happen, I called to check on the status of the order and was told they were back ordered. I guess Discount Ramps thought I would eventually figure it out, and save themselves the hassle of sending a simple email to let me know. Horrible customer service.

4 Stars cross bars

Jean from SC wrote (July 26, 2015):

I ordered these and they came very quickly. They are very sturdy and were very easy to assemble. The only problem I had was that the rubber pads that protect the car would not stay on. I had the bright idea to glue them on so I did using crazy glue. Worked for me! I haven't used it yet but will use it to carry my kayak. Cant wait..................

3 Stars Good rack for most but not all cars

Sluggo from WA wrote (June 20, 2015):

This is a quality product, but it didn't work for me. My car has the annoying automatic seatbelts, so the straps stop the belts. Getting in and out of the car is kind of important. To get out, I have to unattached the seatbelt from the part that moves, then loosen the strap that holds the rack on, open the door, and let the little metal piece go by. Reverse that to get in, close the door, let the piece go by, reattach the seatbelt, tighten up the strap. Not horrible, but not great either.

5 Stars Easy and Inexpensive!

Michelle C. from NH wrote (May 13, 2015):

Love these roof racks! I am using them on my little Toyota Corolla to carry my 50lb kayak-- works like a dream. So easy to use, and can't beat the price.

5 Stars sturdy telescoping roof rack

Jim from PA wrote (March 30, 2015):

sturdy, simple in design(kiss), easy to assemble. relatively easy to adapt for kayak carrying. straps go through door jams, not clip on jams or edges. replaced plastic feet covers with thicker more cushioning pads.

5 Stars Easy to assembly and great to use

DONALD from PA wrote (March 13, 2015):

The assemby is very easy. The straps that totall encompass the roof prevent any misadventures with the carriers coming loose of the roof and seperating from the car. Well made and every thing fits together easily

5 Stars Great Inexpensive Roof Rack

Diane from WA wrote (January 24, 2015):

Fast delivery, sturdy. Good price for product. Only drawback is rain water enters in through straps on rainy days.
