We understand that your wheelchair or power scooter is your key to freedom and independence, which is why it is vital for you to be able to take it anywhere with confidence and ease. Our aluminum power wheelchair and scooter carrier gives you that liberty. The carrier mounts to any standard Class III or IV 2" hitch receiver, and its three-position loading ramp folds flat against the rear of your vehicle - so you can easily park without detaching it.
To make the loading process as smooth as possible, the ramp folds out to a fully-extended length of 59-1/4". Two spring-pull pins lock the loading ramp in its upright position - holding your scooter in place when the vehicle is in motion. Use the two anti-rattle springs and 5/8" hitch pin with the pinch bolt or anti-tilt bracket to prevent the ramp and carrier from rattling during transport (all hardware included). Made from lightweight aluminum and reinforced powder-coated steel, the power chair carrier can hold up to 500 lbs and will never rust or corrode. The 46-1/2" x 30-1/4" useable area of the platform includes four 1"D eyelet tie-down points located near each corner, designed to secure your scooter or wheelchair in place with hook-end safety straps. Raised-edge 4" wide rungs spaced 1" apart provide proper traction during the loading process and prevent your powerchair from shifting when the vehicle is in motion.
Simple to assemble and install, the 81-lb motorized wheelchair carrier comes with easy-to-follow instructions and a one-year manufacturer’s warranty.
Folding Aluminum Power Wheelchair and Scooter Carrier with Loading Ramp - Folds upright for storage
My dad, who is 96 and uses a power wheelchair, found this carrier on an internet search. He liked it because it folded up against the car and was out of the way. So we ordered it and then I got put it together. The assembly video was very helpful to use with the written directions. It went together pretty easily, particularly if you pay attention to which side goes up at several steps! We did the assembly and loaded the chair in about 3 hours, with a couple redo's when I didn't pay attention to the up side! Chair was easy to load and stable as we drove. This ramp will allow dad to go lots more places and get around much easier.

We bought this ramp to put in the back of the truck when we travel with our travel trailer so when we get where we are going we can mount it to the truck so I can be mobile wherever we go. It has given me a new sense of freedom I had not had in years.

The carrier is balanced and light weight wise and easy to handle. The features of folding the ramp and the platform itself is quite convenient. Being aluminum is a plus as their is no worry of rust being exposed to the elements. Setting up the carrier from packing was also very easy with its instructions. I would recommend this product for anyone who needs to carry a power wheelchair or scooter.

I bought this ramp to do a # of things for me.1. carries my wagon and coolers for fishing on pier. 2. for my Mobility scooter. It can be used for just about anything that fits and doesn't exceed weight limit. Love it. Its just what I was looking for. I'm 62 and put it together and mounted it myself. I'm very good with tools. But was very easy assembly. Great buy!

The Ramp/carrier was easier to assemble than I thought it would be. I did it all by myself and took about hours. As the song goes I not as good as I once was. LOL but was able to do it with no trouble. Only problem was, wife's scooter was a little too large for the platform. Guess I did not measure right or assumed the wrong usable length. When I called and talked to Kirk, he offered a full refund, but as we talked we worked out a slight modification by adding a slight incline to lift the front bumper to fit over the rail. Now It works well. That is the only negative that I have found. It was a little heavier than I had expected but really had very little trouble getting it put together and hooked up to my SUV. GREAT COMPANY AND PEOPLE TO DO BUSINESS WITH. Thanks to Kirk and Discount Ramps.

I love this carrier. Strong construction and easy to use. I had no problem assembling or attaching the carrier. The multi purpose design is great to haul my 8 hp snowblower around. Discount Ramps was very courteous and knowledgeable. The carrier is still a bit heavy despite the aluminum construction. I would recommend this carrier and would buy it again. Thanks Discount Ramps.

I purchased this carrier to haul my 8hp snow blower. I compared it with many other carriers. This one is the best for me. It's large usable platform, 500 lbs. weight limit, long folding ramp, easy fold-up storage and more make this a great carrier. This unit is built strong and was easy to assemble. Even though it is aluminum, it still has some weight to it. Discount Ramps has polite and knowledgeable staff. Thanks Discount Ramps.

Discount Ramps shipped this ramp to me to replace a different ramp that I bought that didn't work as advertised. This ramps went together fairly well and works better than advertised. It is still new so the ramp is stiff to operate but I am sure from examining will become easy to use with a little time. The previous reviews that were less than complimentary were probably written by people who are new to power scooters/wheelchairs. Experience solves many problems!
