Thule 897XT Hullavator kayak carrier lift-assist system fully supports up to 40lbs of a kayak's weight with gas-assist struts, greatly reducing the physical lifting necessary. Simply load and strap in the kayak from the side of a vehicle and use the lift-assist handles to raise a kayak to the vehicle roof from waist level. Padded supports with 8 touch points ensure the Hullavator protects and secures a kayak to the vehicle roof. Thule 897XT is a premium kayak carrier designed specifically to reduce the actual kayak lifting weight. Includes all necessary hardware and straps required to transport a single kayak weighing up to 75 lbs with a maximum width of 36". Comes with a Thule Racks LifeTime Warranty!
