Thule Prologue

The Thule Prologue is an affordable yet high quality fork mount bike rack. This roof bike rack carries one bike with a wheelbase up to 48" and tires up to 2.6" wide. It fits most disc brake and suspension combinations with 9mm axles as well. The bike forks are held in place by a skewer system that features a ratcheting nut and securing lever, so you can get the right hold on your forks without damaging them. The back wheel secures to the corrosion resistant single-wall aluminum tray with a ratcheting wheel strap. The Thule Prologue roof top bike rack also features a durable composite nylon head and fits Thule rack systems as well as other round bars. This bike carrier is compatible with the Thule One Key™ lock cylinder system (sold separately) allowing you to lock your bike to the carrier and the carrier to the roof rack. The Thule Ride On Adapter (sold separately) can also be used to mount the roof bike carrier to your vehicle's factory installed rack. Includes a lifetime limited warranty.
