The H2 Series van cargo racks are made to fit standard and extended 1975-1996 Chevy vans. Vantech uses clamp-on mounting bases that attach to existing drip and gutter rails. No drilling required.
Vantech's H2 cargo racks are 14 gauge steel roof racks that come in 10', 12', and 14' lengths and fit fullsize and extended 1975-1996 Chevy vans. The 10' and 12' systems are recommended for use on standard vans while the 14' systems are recommended for use on extended vans. A clamp-on feature allows the steel roof racks to be installed to existing drip rails without the need for drilling. The 10' and 12' models come with 6 mounting bases and can support up to 750 lbs. The 14' model comes with 8 mounting bases and supports up to 1000 lbs. While each pair of mounting bases hold up to 250 lbs each, the steel cross bars have a load capacity of 150 lbs each. Cross bars have an aerodynamic shape to reduce drag from the wind. The 2-3/4" x 1-3/16" cross bars are bolted to the 7" side rails and extend from the first cross bar to the last and come with multiple eyelets for tying down cargo. The bolted cross bars can adjust along the side rails to positions suited for cargo needs. All H2 steel van cargo racks are coated in a protective black or white gloss powder coating.
