The aluminum H2 Chevy van rack system from Vantech uses a clamp-on system that attaches to existing drip or gutter rails. Vantech Chevy van cargo racks come in lengths of 10',12', and 14' and are designed to fit 1975-1996 Chevy Vans. The drip rail clamps that hold the bases in place are rubber dipped to prevent wind noise and scratching during travel. The 2-1/4" x 1" oblong aluminum cross bars have built-in channels on the top and bottom for attaching accessories. Accessories are attached using included sliders that install into the channels of the aluminum system. When evenly distributed, the aluminum H2 Chevy van rack system can hold up to 750 lbs (Weight capacity per bar cannot exceed 70 lbs). Side rails, 5-1/2" tall, come with the van roof rack to prevent side-to-side movement during transit. The underside of the side rails, much like the cross bars, have built-in channels that allow room for optional accessories. Rubber handles are also placed at the front and back of both side rails for easy access to roof top cargo. Aluminum systems are available in black, white, or silver powder coating to protect against rust and harsh weather conditions. Stainless steel hardware is included with the van cargo rack system. No drilling is required.
