Yakima Bow Stern Tie Down system attaches to a kayak or canoe with a pair of tie-down loops around the bow and stern. The 12' long rope is then connected to the tie-down loop with a zinc-coated, stainless steel ratcheting hook designed to tighten and secure the boat in place. Each rope connects to a vehicle's underside frame loops or bumper and features plastic, non-scuff tubes where the rope makes contact with the vehicle to minimize and prevent friction during transport.
