This portable, adjustable stand is part of the DAMAS ramp system that allows you to decrease the approach angle of your aircraft cargo ramp door for vehicles or trailers with low ground clearance and a tall overhand. Built with lightweight 47,000 psi yield aluminum, this stand can adjust from 13 to 15 inches, and is rated for up to 20,000 pounds per axle. It is ATTLA Certified (2012.02.06.1) for USAF C5, C17, C130, and C130J-30 aircraft. It weighs 72 pounds.
We spent many years designing and testing this aircraft ramp system on C5, C17 and C130 aircraft. These heavy duty Aircraft Loading Ramps are ATTLA Certified (2012.02.06.1) for USAF C-130, C-130J-30, C-17, C-5 Aircrafts (AIR TRANSPORTABILITY TEST LOADING AGENCY). The aircraft ramp system is rated at 20,000 lb per axle and it consists of 94" long ramps x 30" and 36" wide. Ramps can be configured in any of the kits listed above, and customers can also configure their own system to meet their specific loading needs.
Kits also include center, and end support stands that adjust to variable heights. The existing aircraft door holds the support stand in place by sitting on a flat plate on the bottom of the stand. To protect the aircraft existing door we bonded a rubber pad to the underside of the top ramps that lay on the aircraft's door. The bottom ramps have been re-designed to now sit flat on the ground. The pictures show an earlier design but have since been updated. You can view the drawing to see the new style system.
