The Vantech rubber bar guard uses a press-on design that fits into channeled aluminum cross bar sections. The rubber bar guards can be cut down to desired sizes to fit into the rectangular or oblong cross bars. Metal-on-metal wear and wind noise are prevented while the press-on rubber guards extend the life of the aluminum cross bars. These rubber van rack guards, once installed, keep cargo up and off the aluminum rack to reduce shift during transit.
