Elasco Cable Protectors
Posted on: September 10th, 2021

From pit mines to church festivals, tough and durable Elasco cable protectors prevent damage to your important cables. Designed for light-duty to extreme-duty applications, they're made right here in the United States with American materials and labor.
What sets Elasco Cable Ramps apart?
Polyurethane Construction for Better Strength, Durability and Longevity
Compared to rubber and plastic cable ramps, the high-quality polyurethane construction will not rot, degrade, or crack over time, and can withstand the elements with superior resistance to grease, oil, and other chemical substances. Unlike certain plastics that are prone to breaking under high impact, the polyurethane bases and lids hold up under high impact while retaining elasticity and strength.
Compared to metal, polyurethane is lighter, less noisy, and will not rust or corrode. It typically outlasts and outperforms metal by three times longer.
Open-Cast Molding
The open-cast molding process means Elasco polyurethane cable ramps are stronger than typical injection-molded polymers. The hot-cast process provides a long, slow cure and post-cure that enhances the cross-linking of the polyurethane molecule.
Gridded surface traction
The distinct gridded look of Elasco's ramps stands out from the usual diamond plate design that you most frequently see on cable protection solutions. The grids allow moisture and mud to settle and fall into the grooves for better traction for tires or work boots.
Reinforced lid hinge
Unlike some cable ramps that feature grooved false hinges or pivot points for the lid, each cable ramp lid is connected to the base by a reinforced fiberglass rod that runs the full length of the hinge to make it easier to lift open or close, and provide additional strength use after use.

Patented glow-in-the-dark technology
This unique embedded glow strip helps increase cable ramp visibility in dark or low-light conditions, and is available as an option on at least one piece within each Elasco line. The embedded glow strips only require 10 seconds of UV exposure to fully charge, and will glow throughout the night with no maintenance, batteries or electricity required.
In most true dark environments humans can see 3.7 milli-candellas once our eyes have adjusted (which takes most people between 15-45 minutes). Under pure darkness, Elasco’s glow material is visible for up to 40 hours once that dark-adaptation has occurred.
Meet the Elasco Family
Light-duty to extreme conditions, Elasco offers a selection of cable ramps with channels, weight capacities and designs that are tailored to specific jobsites.
All of the Elasco cable ramps gang with built-in connectors. Additional pieces such as end caps, left and right turns and X-intersections mean better cable management that is configured to your jobsite, warehouse, factory or working area.
