This hand truck is constructed of high-strength, lightweight aluminum and has a 500 lb. weight capacity. The tri-lobular thread-locking screws used as fasteners for this truck exceed the IFI (Industrial Fastener Institute) locking standards because of their extreme resistance to vibrational loosening. The 10" diameter microcellular wheels are 3-1/2" wide and are puncture-resistant and non-marking. The hub is one-piece steel with semi-precision bearings for smoother movement, and they work well on rough or uneven terrain. The extruded aluminum nose measures 18" wide and 9" deep, and the standard loop handle has a vinyl covering that provides protection against the chilly metal in cold metal and winter weather.

The braking feature sets this hand truck apart from others. The steel cable brake line self-adjusts and self-aligns for even, gradual braking so that users can slow the truck down to compensate for different gradients as needed. It also comes with heavy-duty, die-cast hand truck stair climbers with replaceable low-friction polymer glide bars that bear the brunt of the stress when moving this truck up or down stairs.
