The SaltDogg 8 Cubic Foot Tailgate Spreader is ideal for commercial applications using bulk salt. Manufactured from durable poly, it sits in a steel frame that is powder-coated for optimum corrosion protection. It works with half-ton, three-quarter ton and one-ton trucks, and mounts to 2" Class IV receivers with patented horizontal and vertical adjustments. The horizontal auger and stainless steel trough keep material moving consistently.
The spreader has a 12" poly spinner that can cast material from 3' to 30'. It's powered by a 1/2 HP, 12V dual-shaft gear motor that is operated by an included variable speed in-cab controller.
The gravity-fed spreader has a 9" poly spinner that can cast rock salt up to 30'. It's powered by a 1/2 HP, 12V motor that is directly wired and controlled by an included variable speed in-cab controller.
