Professional driver Michele Abbate of GRRRaacing grew up watching her brother race, so it’s no surprise that was first thing she did when she got her license was to head straight to the autocross track. Putting in her time, she worked up through SCCA track days and time attack until signing with Scion in 2013 for wheel-to-wheel racing. She’s never looked back.
The idea of creating a museum in Allentown, PA, to exhibit classic automobiles and educate the public on the past, present and future of the automobile industry germinated as early as 1987; however, it wasn’t until the city put together a revitalization plan in the late ‘00s that the current waterfront location, originally the A&B Meats meat-packing plant, was selected. The museum’s main building was constructed between 2006 and 2008, and the second-floor offices of A&B Meats were transformed into a 1950’s-themed diner – the HubCap Café – which serves classic ice cream treats and hot dogs to visitors.

Erick Miller had a passion for racing cars ever since his youth. He loved the adrenaline, feeling of accomplishment and sense of community. As a way to showcase the racetracks he competed at, he added silhouettes of those racetracks to his cars and tow rigs. After his racing career, Miller later found himself falling in love with off-road vehicles and living in an area where those types of vehicles thrived.
It’s no secret that custom-built cars are amazing; Bair Customs takes their projects to another level. “I’ve always been a car guy,” says Jason Bair, owner of Bair Customs. He developed his love of muscle cars, working on them with his uncles as a young boy. As a teenager, Bair learned the basics of automotive mechanical and body work. He worked on his first two cars, the 1970 Plymouth Satellite and Plymouth GTX. “I learned a lot from my uncles… they both took me under their wing and shared a ton of information and showed me many automotive skills.”
