Each post has a sturdy extended base that fits between your truck bed and the cap so that it won’t interfere with your cap use. The clamp design secures tightly to your truck bed so that you don’t have to drill holes in your truck. During assembly, the support arms slide into the extruded channel of the aluminum crossbar so that you can adjust them to fit your truck perfectly. Once they’re centered on the crossbar with equal overhang on both sides, they can be fully tightened.

Three horizontal crossbars and 6.5” high guard rails provide support for ladders, lumber, pipes and other cargo that is too unwieldy to fit in your truck.
