These new composite urethane wheel chocks weigh less than wood chocks and are resistant to aircraft fuels, hydraulic fluids, and lubricants used in the aviation industry. Military aircraft chocks will last years longer than wooden chocks, never need painting, and are not potential foreign object damage (FOD) problems for aircraft engines. Standard with replaceable nylon rope lanyard. These chocks utilize the Rope Lock System. This original military style chock-to-chock rope lock system allows a wheel chock to be temporarily and securely attached to the opposing wheel chock on the opposite side of the aircraft tire, and ensures that wheel chocks remain firmly positioned against each side of the aircraft tire during engine test procedures. Sold in pairs.

Wheel chocks perform differently due to a variety of surfaces, grades, and weather conditions. Gross vehicle weight, tire size and pressure are all variables that can affect the chocks performance. Be sure the specifications of the chock you are purchasing match the requirements for your application.

Warning and Usage Guidelines

  • Improper use may result in product failure
  • Select wheel chock according to vehicle type and size
  • Always use in pairs and on firm surfaces
  • Chock in direction of grade
  • Chock both sides of wheel if direction of grade is undetermined
  • Use only after parking brake is applied and tested
  • Center chocks snugly and squarely against tread of each wheel
  • Always test chocks to insure they meet requirements
  • Do not drive over wheel chocks
