Vantech H1 Transit Connect Rack System

Vantech offers the H1 Series roof rack for Ford Transit Connect vans. These roof racks come in aluminum or steel, a choice of black or white powder coating, and high or low profile models. Drilling is required. The H1 Series roof rack is designed specially for Ford Transit Connect delivery and business vans. The 2 bar van roof rack system from Vantech comes in steel and aluminum and high and low profile models. The transit connect racks can safely hold up to 500 lbs (250 lbs per bar) when evenly distributed.

Rectangular 2" x 1" cross bars are made of 14 gauge heavy duty steel and come with a protective non-slip bar guard. Lightweight aluminum cross bars have inner channels to add extra support. The upper portion of the cross bars are protected by a non-slip rubber strip that presses into the channeled bars. The steel cross bars are mounted to galvanized upright steel mounts. Rubber caps are installed on the mounting uprights for wind reduction. Both systems include galvanized 5" ladder stoppers and 5-1/2" ladder guides for safely securing materials. Easy turn knobs are used to adjust and remove the guides and stoppers. A hook and loop strap is included to support 75 lbs worth of material. Both 17" systems come in black or white powder coating to protect against rust. The rack system attaches to included 69" rails.

The high profile mounting bases are attached to the rails using 45 deg. angled adapter plates and sliders that adjust to a desired size. The angled adapter plates are designed specifically to connect mounting bases to sliders. Drilling is required to install the rail system. (1/2" added to overall height when using R16 rails) The low profile mounting bases have pre-drilled holes that fit onto included sliders.
