4 Stars Apex 2 bike rack

Ames ,,,,,science teacher from AL wrote (August 26, 2016):

I was surprised to get my rack so quickly, the quality of the steel was great, heavy duty stuff. I made a modification to the upper section that rotates 90 degrees. I replaced the 2 bolts with 3 1/2 inch stainless steel bolts and put wing nuts and drilled the ends to hold spring clips. This allows me to rotate the top section out of the way w/o using a wrench each time. Nice rack .

5 Stars Should do the job

Steve from GA wrote (April 21, 2016):

This is my first time buying a hitch bike rack. I like the design of it and the sturdiness on the tubing. It is much more sturdy than I expected. Easy to put together. I am looking forward to many years of good service out of this product. It appears to be build to last!

5 Stars Skip the Name

Mike from CO wrote (March 25, 2016):

Really I don't see how the Big Names aren't ashamed to charge as much as they do. This is a great rack and the price point is spot-on. A tad heavy for little people but I am a brute, so it doesn't matter. The rack works simply and easily and you can add or subtract as you see fit (for instance, I prefer Bungees over the supplied strap, and I bought a locking hitch bolt). Sturdy, doesn't wobble, is not too hard to manage and secures your bikes for the trip. Very happy I bought this.

4 Stars Apex 2Bike Rack

Put off a little by inexpensive price, but read a couple reviews on your website and ordered. Assembled easily and is pretty heavy duty. My two bikes ride nicely

4 Stars Overall a good bike rack

Ed from MD wrote (March 10, 2016):

Likes: 1) The architecture of my particular bike does not lend itself well to two arm racks, so the center pads allow my bike to be easily mounted. 2) Solid build. 3) No wobble in hitch Dislikes: 1) Straps are subpar for longterm use and allow the bikes to move, but i can accomodate by using additional rubber straps that will reduce movement.

5 Stars Apex hitch bike rack, 2 bike

Tom Balistreri from NY wrote (March 03, 2016):

I bought a bike , looking online for a bike hitch, like the looks of the apex hitch, like the reflector on the back, like the way it goes down & out of the way to open the lifegate, the strong Velcro straps.

5 Stars By far much better than Thule Helium Aero 9042 2 Bike rack

Ron Brown from FL wrote (March 02, 2016):

I bought the Thule Helium 9042. It cost about $450. It was difficult to fit into the 2 inch hitch, the rubber bike cross bar holders failed, the key lock failed in short the Thule was very poorly made and very difficult to use. I then bought your Blue Devil Apex 2 Bike rack. It is extremely well made and easy to use. It cost about 1/5 the cost of the Thule! As a Mechanical Engineer I highly recommend the Apex 2 Bike rack!! It is a BEST BUY!

5 Stars Great Product

Tom from TN wrote (September 26, 2015):

Easy assembly. Tools all included. Common sense is a great guide. Quality finish on all parts. Fit was excellent. Holds bikes very securely with no wobble or noise. Would recommend to anyone. Maybe get the three bike as it is not that much more and has the same fit and finish. Great product at a great price.

4 Stars Heavy Duty Rack

Joe from NC wrote (September 03, 2015):

Quick and easy to assemble this heavy duty and well built bike rack. Love the pull a pin and open the back deck feature. Would have given five stars if all the bolts to assemble had been in the box. Called Discount Ramps and bolt is on it's way. Great customer service and great product. Definitely telling friends about both rack and Discount Ramps

5 Stars 2 bike hitch carrier

Apprehensive at first, because of the low cost. But when I got it, it was easy to put together, was well made, and did not sway like my other carriers. I will absolutely endorse this product
