The Elevate Outdoor Piggyback bicycle rack uses an innovative extendable design to carry 2 or 4 bicycles using the same frame. Use this bike rack with 1 or 2 bikes only or to carry two more with the included 2 bike add on. Each individual rack is adjustable and fits bikes from 50" to 76" long. The Piggyback bike carrier has 4 rubber coated grabber bars that reach out and clamp onto each bike's frame to secure them to the carrier.
When not in use, the carrier rack easily swings down to gain access to SUVs or hatchbacks, or folds up against the vehicle to minimize the overall footprint of the vehicle. Hitch pin sold separately.

Usage Guidelines
Please note, this model is not compatible with 1.25" trailer hitches. Hitch-mounted carriers are not recommended for use on tow-behind trailers including 5th wheel and camping trailers, motor-homes or RVs. Never exceed the maximum tongue rating of your trailer hitch and be aware that your hauling weight may be limited by your vehicle's suspension. Some vehicles may require air shocks or heavier springs to stiffen up the suspension and prevent sagging. Carriers are not recommended for hitches less than 12" from the ground to the bottom of the hitch without the use of a riser adaptor. Hitch pin not included.
