3-Channel Yellow Jacket AMS Cable Protector Kit for 2.25" Dia. Cables

The AMS system (Advanced Modular System) is a set of interlocking cable ramps and covers. This set includes a center piece and two side ramps that can be expanded by adding more center sections. Three channels are hidden below the yellow lid and offer protection to hoses and cable bundles up to 2.25" in diameter. If three is not enough, extra center sections can be added to increase the number of protective channels. The old method of adding channels was to set separate cable covers side by side. The new interlocking system removes gaps between sections and creates a flush surface for heavy traffic.

A series of flat prongs and slots are used to connect center pieces and ramps to one another. The male ramp features the flat prongs that slide directly into the slots on the center section. The female side ramp contains slots that are attached to the opposite side of the center piece. The 0.375" thick yellow lid is attached with reinforced fiberglass hinges that make it easy to place and remove cables and hoses. A beveled series of diamond-shaped treads are designed to maximize the amount of traction for pedestrians and vehicles during wet or sloppy conditions. Both side ramps, apart from the slots and prongs, contain Dog Bone connectors that are used to attach extra center sections and side ramps to cover long cable runs.
