The ramp is secured to the truck via two heavy duty, 36" long safety chains to prevent the ramp from kicking out. The apron is 8" long with a 3 1/4" position stop which provides a gradual transition from ramp to vehicle. These walk ramps feature side rails with an inside height of 3 1/4" high and an outside height of 4 1/4" high to keep cargo and occupants on the ramp.
