More Information

Available in both two and four bike models, these steel bike racks are compatible with existing 1-1/4" Class II and 2" Class III or IV vehicle hitch receivers. These bike racks are designed for easy set up and use! The top cradle area easily folds down for storage, and the entire bike hitch rack can be tilted away for rear vehicle access. Bikes with frames up to 1-5/8" D can be secured with the included rubber tie-down straps to the grooved cradle platform. A stable 2" x 2" square main support tube attaches to the bike cradle, and a reinforcing 13-1/2" gusset provides unmatched durability. This design allows for a 3" clearance from the pin hole to the gusset, and a 9" clearance from the pin hole to the frame. This bike rack easily folds for compact storage with a single pull-pin or simply tilt the entire rack away from the vehicle with a spring-loaded tilt lock mechanism for rear vehicle access.

Please note: NOT recommended for tow-behind trailers including 5th wheel trailers and camping trailers. NOT recommended for use with hitch adapters / extensions.

Usage Guidelines
Please note, hitch-mounted bike carriers are not recommended for use on tow-behind trailers including 5th wheel and camping trailers, motor-homes or RVs. Never exceed the maximum tongue rating of your trailer hitch and be aware that your hauling weight may be limited by your vehicle's suspension. Some vehicles may require air shocks or heavier springs to stiffen up the suspension and prevent sagging. Carriers are not recommended for hitches less than 12" from the ground to the bottom of the hitch without the use of a riser adapter. The measurement from the end of the support brace to the center of the hitch pin hole is 2.5"; measure your hitch receiver to make sure this rack will fit your vehicle. It's highly recommended not to tilt the bike hitch rack while loaded.
