The 15-foot long by 70-inch wide Bluff Steel Multi-Purpose Yard Ramp is a versatile option for bridging irregular dock heights and gaps, or for assisting with loading and unloading lower trailers without a lift gate. There are a multitude of occasions that will call for a target height that is one-half or less than a normal dock height, and with this ramp you'll have an option that's ready to go. Manufactured in the same durable steel as the larger Bluff stationary yard ramps, these compact length yard ramp comes with a 20,000-pound weight capacity and has the 8-inch high curbs on both sides to prevent run-offs. Below the upper grating, heavy-duty steel side girders provide sturdy, load-bearing support. Steel diamond deck approach plates at the top and bottom ensure easy transitions on and off, with an added benefit of absorbing the weight impact of the forklifts entering the ramp. These full width approach plates also serve as a turning pad for forklift tires that won't damage the grated portion of the ramp and will help preserve tire life. This ramp has excellent traction as the steel serrated grating on top allows snow, mud and debris to pass right through.
