The heavy-duty trailer hitch adapter allows you easily to fold up your hitch-mounted carrier when not in use to save yourself the hassle of repeated removals and installations. To determine if the Folding Hitch Adapter will work with your hitch-mounted carrier measure the distance between the end of the hitch tube and the hitch pin hole. The hitch pin hole must be no closer than 2-1/2" from the end of the hitch and no further than 3".
