5 Stars Good rack

Steve from MI wrote (August 07, 2017):

We had a bike rack that the bikes attached to the upper beam and my wife hated putting and taking the bikes off. I saw this bike rack on line at a price much lower than the bike store. When it arrived and I started putting it together part of the platform was bent and would not go togethet. I caled customer service and they sent a replacement part out the next day. With the good part it went together very easily. The bike rack is easy to put on the van and putting the bikes on is a breeze. The rack is strong enough to carry the bikes safely, but is also light enough to store on my garage wall. My wife loves it and very pleased she doesn't have to struggle with the old bike rack.

5 Stars Great Product!

Travis from UT wrote (March 29, 2017):

The total experience from shopping the website, making the order, quick shipment / delivery and assembling the product was great. Assembled product is easy to use (installing on vehicle and loading bicycles) and I look forward to using it on many adventures. Product seems to be built with good materials that should last. I will be recommending this bike rack to all of my friends!!!!!

5 Stars Awesome bike carrier

Clifton from MO wrote (September 06, 2016):

I have been looking for a versatile carrier with all the bells and whistles, this one delivers I have a Suburban and I can carry 4 bikes at a time. If I need to get into the rear of truck I can simply rotate rack so that I can lift the back door. I can also just stow the rack in an up position while not in use. I can hold 4 bikes or 2 bikes depending. The rack keeps the bikes stable and secure so they don't rub each other. I have an RV and attach it to the rear as we travel. It is by far the best bike carrier I have ever owned. I took it for the first time camping this weekend and had numerous people ask where I got it.

5 Stars 4 place bike carrier

Wally from MN wrote (August 22, 2016):

we purchased the bike carrier last spring and have now used it a number of time and couldn't be more satisfied. It has worked better than expected and has had us go biking more often because of it. Would and have recommended to others.

4 Stars Carrier is soild

Larry from OH wrote (August 07, 2016):

The carrier is well built and I feel comfortable carrying 4 bikes on it. I had an assembly problem that Discount Ramps corrected. My order was shipped fast and was packed well.

5 Stars Quality product

Easily assembled...sturdy...flexible for 2 or 4 bikes...would recommend it

5 Stars 4 Bike Hitch Bike Rack

Amy from AR wrote (May 19, 2016):

We wanted a rack that would carry our 4 bikes on our SUV, but I didn't want something that would touch the vehicle itself, so the hitch mounted rack is perfect for us. It assembled fairly easily. We were a little confused about why they used a "clip spring washer bolt/hex head" (in other words a bolt with a half thread and cotter pin) to attach the platform extension instead of a simple nut and bolt, but otherwise we've had no issues, and it seems like a solid product.

5 Stars It came on time!

Karen from MA wrote (October 18, 2015):

Loved the quick delivery! The rack is for a gift so I can't comment on the quality of the product, but I'm very pleased with the delivery time!

5 Stars Love the Bike Rack

Patricia from VA wrote (October 07, 2015):

Very nice bike rack...bought it for three bikes but with the possibility of adding another one...love it...very nice, sturdy and easy to put together....we use it on the back of our camper...it did not flop, sway or fall off....

5 Stars Great bile rack, built like a tank

Jayson from MN wrote (September 24, 2015):

I wanted to buy a four bike hitch rack this summer, I had a thule two bike hitch rack but found out the extension was way too expensive, then i found this rack it was a four bike rack for cheaper then thules extension. And I tell you this thing isn't made cheap either, its easy to put your bikes on strap down and your ready .i have used it a lot this summer and it is great , I highly recommend it

5 Stars Easy Assembly

Bill from PA wrote (August 28, 2015):

Nice heavy duty frame. Easy to assemble with teenager help. Like feature of folding up when not in use.

4 Stars Exactly what I expected

Ben RN from PA wrote (August 10, 2015):

I like the platform concept, heavy duty but lite enough for one person to handle. The hold down straps are generic, but effective. I would imagine easily replaced if worn. A rubber strapping system would be nice. The bracket that holds the clamps is nice because it can be removed when not in use to gain access to the vehicle. However when it is in place, it is loose, a firmer fit would be nice. Overall very satisfied. I would recommend this rack.

4 Stars 4 bike rack carrier

Lee from MI wrote (August 06, 2015):

I bought this carrier because it could adjust between 2 bikes(husband & I) or add the extension for up to 4 bikes (having the grand-kids). I watched the video to put it together, this helped a lot & was easy to do. I'm able to lift & put the carrier on the hitch as well as load the bikes - this was an important criteria in choosing this rack. Some drawbacks - 1. the pins to secure the rack in place don't always go in/out easily. Sometimes it takes a lot of jiggling around, but eventually I get them to work. 2. the crossbars that are used to secure the bike in place work great, but each time I've had to use them, I've put my bike on THEN I drive to another location to get my friends bike on & the crossbar is stuck behind my bike! I've learned that I need to make sure the crossbars that I need to use are up & out of the way & then I need to bungee them to my bike until I get the other bikes on. If the bikes are being loaded at on location, this isn't a problem. These are small issues & once I realized what was going on, am making accommodations. 3. You do need bungee cords so the crossbars aren't hitting the car if your not carrying a bike or the bike, if its the only one on the rack. The is a very good carrier, I do recommend the purchase. A good product for the price.

5 Stars Excellent Bike Rack

Jay Vance from VA wrote (July 13, 2015):

I bought this rack for the versatility - 2 or 4 bikes and solid reviews. Easy to install, easy to adjust and best of all the bikes are out of the way and stay secure on the rack. Highly recommend for the price.

5 Stars Great well built product

Kevin from IN wrote (May 31, 2015):

Wow, finally got a product that doesn't cost an arm and a leg, yet is built to last. The four place bike rack is an awesome addition to our camping trips and allows us the ability to keep our bikes outside the rv where they belong. Other racks allow bikes to bounce on the road and always make me wonder while driving down the road, but this rack was solid into the receiver hitch and I never even new it was on there. The retaining arms were perfect and held the bikes tight for the entire trip. Every campground we stopped someone asked us about the rack. Don't be surprised if you get a lot of sales !!!

5 Stars 4 bike hitch mount rack review

Excellent product. Very well made and arrived very quickly.

4 Stars Hitch mounted 4 bike carrier

David from TN wrote (May 21, 2015):

The reason I bought this carrier was that I had a frame hitch carrier and I did not like how high the bikes sat. It blocked my rear view. Also, the frames were getting scratched. This carrier is perfect. The bikes sit lower and the weight of the bikes are in the cradles. Solid construction and exactly what I was looking for in a bike rack. Very easy to assemble and install.

5 Stars very good product

Lonny from PA wrote (May 19, 2015):

easy to build and install, very sturdy and easy to load bikes. would recommend and would purchase this product again !!

4 Stars 4 Bike Hitch Rack installed

David from AZ wrote (April 26, 2015):

My friend helped me to install it on my SUV and he was so impressed how well it was built to carry 4 bikes. We tested it by putting two bikes on it and it looked good. My big worry is that I only have one pin to hold the bike rack and I might lose it. I might need a few ones as a back up. I plan to travel with it to the camping in a few weeks.

5 Stars 4 Bike Carrier

Tony Watkins from WI wrote (April 21, 2015):

This is a very well built bike carrier. Incredibly strong so I can drive normal speeds without having to worry about the 4 bikes moving around. Assembles real easy and fits right into the 2 inch hitch receiver. I really like that I don"t have to try and hang four bikes from their frames in different positions. Also there are no obstacles in the way when loading the bikes!! Great Carrier! Thanks Guys!

5 Stars Snappy bike rack

Jacob and Derek Alexander from WI wrote (April 04, 2015):

Perfect bike rack for 24" and 26" mountain bikes. Great father son project and it was in use in under 30 minutes. Could use a couple of extra straps in the box but other than that it's bomb proof.

4 Stars 3 bike rack

johnny from AZ wrote (February 23, 2015):

i bought this rack to carry 2-3 MTBs rather than using the Yakima rack I have that I have to force them to fit. it works well for 2 bikes, but I can't see getting 3 29rs on the rack. could use more room between the rails as I place a bike on the furthest outside and inside rail and have to adjust to keep handlebars from rubbing seat. no way they will fit facing same direction. other than trying to figure out the Velcro straps, it is a great rack for the price and it is well built, not too heavy to handle, very sturdy. I like the ability to adjust the bike size with the rails. it will handle 3 road bikes without any problems.

4 Stars Great Bike Carrier

Roger from MN wrote (October 27, 2014):

The 4 bike, wheel holding system, works very well. Installation on vehicle is very easy, just a little heavy, which is a good thing. It is strong and you can drive normal speeds with it on. The only thing which is a slight negative is how you have to use the velcro strips to hold the wheels down. This is difficult the first time, but gets easier after 2-3 times.

5 Stars Love This Bike Carrier and Love Discount Ramps

Walter from CA wrote (September 21, 2014):

I can't tell you how many bike racks we've gone through looking for one that my wife and/or I could actually handle. We're in our mid 50's and enjoy bicycling and taking our bikes to different trails. We simply are getting to the point where we couldn't lift the bikes without hurting something in our (my) back or shoulders. This rack is the PERFECT SOLUTION. The rack mounts easily in a 2" receiver and the fold down feature means that I will leave it permanently mounted to my truck! The expandable X2 carrier feature is nice I suppose down the road if we have more than 2 bikes to transport! I recommend highly to anyone who is tired of lifting their bikes on to a frame or wheel "hanging" rack. Discount Ramps had this ramp to us in 5 days from the date of order!
