The retractable strap has a ½ inch hole that can be mounted or bolted to the foot-long attachment with an S-hook end. Each S-hook is made of solid steel and has a thick rubber coating to prevent scratches and scuffs. 5 Stars Retractable Straps

Lawrence from FL wrote (May 22, 2015):

These are excellent cargo/tie down straps. I purchased them for my motorcycle trailer. What I really like is that I nan bolt the strap to the deck with an eye bolt and the straps are always there and ready to go. Plus being retractable, there are no strap ends to roll up, tie down or get in the way.

I bought 4 of these tie down straps this time had bought 2 about 4 years ago to add to a heavy duty power wheelchair lift that had two on it when I bought it from Discount Ramps also. They work great my wife has no trouble getting my chair on and off the lift. these will replace the old ones that have been on the lift, out in the weather for over 4 years.
