The J1000 Transit Connect roof rack from Vantech is an aluminum two bar system designed to fit directly to factory bolts. Both reinforced bars contain channels that Vantech accessories connect to. Models A and B have a length of 50" and 55" while both low profile designs weigh in at only 9 lbs. Both roof rails mount to mounting bases which then connect to the factory bolts on the Transit Connect vans. The mounting bases have two eye hooks each that act as tie down points for roof top cargo. Polyfoam gaskets are also included to prevent water leaks between the mounting bases and the roof top. Rubber end caps come with the two bar roof rack system to soften up sharp edges while also reducing wind noise while in transit. A protective powder coat is applied in black, white, or silver finishes to help extend the life of the transit connect rack. The roof rack system doesn't require drilling and comes with stainless steel hardware.
