Stabilize your hitch mounted bike, motorcycle or mobility carrier with this anti-tilt locking device. The device fits a Class III or IV hitch and works by pinching the main hitch tube of the towing product firmly into the trailer hitch receiver attached to your vehicle with a simple bolt-on design.
This device prevents tilting when a hitch mounted product is attached to your Class III hitch. To do this, it pinches the main tube of the hitch mounted product into the trailer's hitch, eliminating rocking.
The anti-tilt locking device is a bracket that can be used with your Class III hitch to prevent wobble when using a hitch mounted carrier or other product. This anti-tilt bracket works by pinching the main hitch tube of the towing product firmly into the trailer hitch receiver attached to your vehicle.
Works as advertised, Heavy duty construction is a plus, I used it on a bike rack on my rv's rear bumper.
I was a little leery at first, but after watching the video, I ordered one and installed it and works as advertised on my mobility carrier and hooking up my utv trailer. Eliminates the noise coming from the hitch as if nothing was hooked in.
This is my second time buying this product, I had an extension on my ramp which required 2 of these. Dislikes: My first One; 1 bolt was extremely tight. My fear was the threads were crossed. Likes: Once the I got through that, the product works great. No rattling and no other problems to report. Second device, does the job quite well.
This is a wonderful item I now have two I use them on a mobility carrier one is used on a 2011 silverado the other is a 2007 kia sportage the really make the carrier sturdy . Went over 2500 miles on vacation and they held up well I am very pleased and would purchase again.
I bought this bracket because the one that came with my 400 pound hitch motorcycle carrier had failed and broke at the welds. This bracket is constructed very different and has 4 bolts that tighten from the bottom which is great! Also the bracket has an extra bolt (4 instead of 3) that adds extra stability. The new anti-tilt bracket is a excellent revision.
Works well with my short hitch receiver (2005 4Runner) to stabilize the Scooter carrier my wife bought elsewhere. The "reverse" part helped because my safety chain rings are too close to the 2" opening.
