More Information

The Apex Hitch-Mounted Receiver Hitch Crane makes it easy for one person to load heavy equipment or cargo weighing up to 1,000 lbs. into the bed of a pickup truck. Installation is a snap--simply attach the hitch crane to your 2" Class III or IV trailer hitch, and begin loading from either the driver or passenger side of your truck. When not in use, this trailer hitch crane conveniently folds up for compact transportation, freeing up valuable cargo space in the bed of your truck.

Manufactured from tough powder-coated steel, the trailer hitch crane features a 4' long boom with three lift points for use with the included hook and chain. Sealed bearings provide a smooth swivel during loading, and an included pin restricts rotation to 180 deg., preventing excessive boom arm swing.

  • Manufactured from durable, powder-coated steel
  • 1,000 lb. lifting capacity

  • Smooth 360 deg. rotation for versatility
  • Can be used to load from driver or passenger side of vehicle
  • Adjustable support legs work with nearly every pickup truck
  • Folds up to store in your trailer hitch when not in use
Usage Guidelines
Please note, hitch-mounted cargo carriers are not recommended for use on tow-behind trailers including 5th wheel and camping trailers, motor-homes or RVs. Never exceed the maximum tongue rating of your trailer hitch and be aware that your hauling weight may be limited by your vehicle's suspension. Some vehicles may require air shocks or heavier springs to stiffen up the suspension and prevent sagging. Carriers are not recommended for hitches less than 12" from the ground to the bottom of the hitch without the use of a riser adaptor.
