Black Transit Connect H1 2 bar ladder roof rack Low Profile 42" Bars Aluminum

The Vantech H1 Low Profile Steel system with tracks can hold up to 500 lb (evenly distributed). The track system fit onto the Transit Connects factory bolt (drilling required for extension). The Cross bars is 2in x 1in Reinforced extruded aluminum crossbars with internal structural support. The Cross bar is protected by non-slip rubber bar guard on top. The aluminum mounting upright is approx. 1/8in thick at the base. The mounting uprights are 8in wide at the base and 10.25in total height. The Base is welded complete onto the upright post for complete seal. There are 4x 1in eyehook per mounting upright. Rubber cap on the upright post prevents wind noise and water leakage. The system Includes 5in ladder stopper to prevent ladder from sliding forward, Ladder stoppers are galvanized and rubber dipped. The system also includes 5.5in ladder guide for easy bungee and tie-down. Ladder guide are galvanized and rubber dipped. Easy turn knob allows quick adjustments and removal of ladder stopper and ladder guide. hook and loop straps secure ladders within seconds up to 75 lbs System powder coated for additional protection against rust. Total system height from base to endcap is 17in.

Rectangular 2" x 1" cross bars are made of 14 gauge heavy duty steel and come with a protective non-slip bar guard. Lightweight aluminum cross bars have inner channels to add extra support. The upper portion of the cross bars are protected by a non-slip rubber strip that presses into the channeled bars. The steel cross bars are mounted to galvanized upright steel mounts. Rubber caps are installed on the mounting uprights for wind reduction. Both systems include galvanized 5" ladder stoppers and 5.5" ladder guides for safely securing materials. Easy turn knobs are used to adjust and remove the guides and stoppers. A hook and loop strap is included to support 75 lbs worth of material. Both 17" systems come in black or white powder coating to protect against rust. The rack system attaches to included 69" rails.

The high profile mounting bases are attached to the rails using 45 deg. angled adapter plates and sliders that adjust to a desired size. The angled adapter plates are designed specifically to connect mounting bases to sliders. Drilling is required to install the rail system. (1/2" added to overall height when using R16 rails) The low profile mounting bases have pre-drilled holes that fit onto included sliders.
