OSHA Regulation 1910.28(b)(7) states that employers must ensure employees working near an opening are protected from falling by the use of a guardrail system or other fall protection method.

The lighter weight aluminum gate is designed for single-handed use to reduce strain on employees throughout the workday. It includes a counterbalance to minimize the effort required to lift and lower it vertically.
