Overview
Reach out to us today to discuss how the Defense Aircraft Military Approach Shoring (DAMAS) Ramp System can eliminates clearance issues when loading military vehicles and utility trailers into C5, C17, C130, and C130J-30 aircraft.
Engineered and manufactured in the United States, it is ATTLA Certified (2012.02.06.1) and rated at 20,000 lb per axle. Set up and removal only takes minutes, and it stores compactly inside the aircraft.
Kits also include center, and end support stands that adjust to variable heights. The existing aircraft door holds the support stand in place by sitting on a flat plate on the bottom of the stand. To protect the aircraft existing door we bonded a rubber pad to the underside of the top ramps that lay on the aircraft's door. The bottom ramps have been re-designed to now sit flat on the ground. The pictures show an earlier design but have since been updated. You can view the drawing to see the new style system.
