Increase loading dock safety with Guardian Truck Restraints by manually hooking trailers to your docks so that semi-trucks can't pull their trailers away while employees are still loading or unloading on the dock. These truck restraints are built with solid steel to restrain up to 50,000 lbs., and bolt directly to the dock face and the ground with 8 anchor bolts and 2 ground anchors. A manually-operated lever activates the built-in hook, which hooks to the rear impact guard of the trailer so the driver is unable to move his trailer away from the dock. When the driver has the all-clear, the lever releases the hook and it lays flat so the driver can safely pull away and leave.
Designed to install within 1 hour, the restraints have a self-cleaning spring and hook assembly that only requires periodic lubrication so that maintenance is kept to an absolute minimum. Inside and outside signage is included to enhance dock safety. The restraints meet 1998 R.I.G. (Rear Impact Guard) regulations, and are proudly made in the USA.
In addition to the standard package, these truck restraints are also available with either manually operated or automatic inside/outside traffic light signals and driver warning signals.
