Silver Spring Electric Scooter Lift & Carrier

A safer, easier alternative to transporting mobility scooters, the Silver Spring Electric Scooter Lift and Carrier allows you to roll the scooter into position and raise it up electrically for hitch-mounted transport. With a 350 lb. capacity, it accommodates most smaller scooters on the 38" L x 27.5" W platform and has an extendable cradle that pulls out to 46". Four self-tensioning retractors secure devices to the platform without the hassle of keeping separate tie-down straps on hand.

Installation requires no drilling or modifications to your vehicle, and the lift comes standard with the necessary wiring harness, a license plate holder, a warning LED light, and a manual back-up hand crank. Designed to be as unobtrusive as possible, the lift folds against the vehicle when empty to save space while improving visibility. For simplicity, one key provides full control.

The Silver Spring power chair lift and carrier is compatible with any vehicle equipped with a Class II hitch or higher. When a device is loaded and tied down, it raises up in 20 seconds. When empty, it folds in 6 seconds.

Please note, hitch-mounted mobility carriers are not recommended for use on tow-behind trailers including 5th wheel and camping trailers, motor-homes or RVs. Never exceed the maximum tongue rating of your trailer hitch and be aware that your hauling weight may be limited by your vehicle's suspension. Some vehicles may require air shocks or heavier springs to stiffen up the suspension and prevent sagging. Carriers are not recommended for hitches less than 12" from the ground to the bottom of the hitch without the use of a riser adapter. A license plate riser is required to be used with this carrier in the following states: AK, AL, AZ, CA, CO, FL, HI, ID, KS, MT, ND, NV, OR, PA, SD, TX, UT, VA, WA. This is to ensure that the license plate is easily identifiable at all times, even when the carrier is unoccupied. It is your responsibility to understand your state's laws and regulations, as well as any states you will be traveling through. Do not lift mobility device while occupied.
