I looked all over for a way to extend my hitch 12inches so it would clear the spare tire on my RV, there are many that will go 8 and one half inches but only Discount Ramps has the 12 inch version. I am only attaching a 32 cu. ft. Cargo box weighing approx. 300 lbs to this hitch adapter. the way it is made it would haul a Tank it's very well made with strength in mind .

We needed a hitch adapter that would allow us to tow our CRV behind our motor home and also allow us to carry our bikes on a rack. The DRH-1 filled the bill!

product appears to be well made, would have gave 5 stars but seems loose in my receiver. Would like it to fit tighter will see if it works ok when pulling my boat and also hauling bikes.

We needed to get our wheelchair carrier a bit higher off the ground and this riser works well for that.
5 Stars2" hitch riser/drop - Awesome product for a great price
John from FL wrote (July 13, 2015):
I bought it to use on my wife's minivan because when we use a cargo carrier with her vehicle, the carrier scrapes the ground just pulling out of the driveway, not to mention any other slight incline (pulling into gas station, restaurant, etc.) I received the product in5 business days and am very impressed with the quality. I was going to try and make one myself, but after calculating the cost of the steel, cutting, and finding a place to weld it, this price seems like a bargain.
5 StarsDual reciever

This is what my son has been looking for. He has tried different ones with no or little luck. This will make it possible for him to bring the kid's three bikes and his pop up trailer on vacations.

Bought this to extend a scooter ramp from scraping- worked great, just a little too far from back of van.
