Hitch Mounted Carrier For Extra Cargo

The cargo hitch carrier has a huge 500 lb weight capacity for hauling coolers, boxes, tools, firewood, and many other belongings you may not be able to fit into your vehicle. The carrier has a “basket” structure which includes a usable 48" x 18.25" x 5" steel mesh surface, 5" steel tube rails, and a heavy duty 2" steel hitch tube which fits into your hitch receiver providing primary support for the cargo carrier. The side rails also feature holes for securing your gear with a cargo net. Overall dimensions of the basket cargo carrier are 50" x 20" x 6". A glossy black powder coat covers the carrier and hosts a suitable defense from rust, road grime, and outdoor elements.

To install, just slide the main support tube into your trailer hitch receiver and insert a hitch pin to keep the basket from sliding out during travel. The carrier only weighs 28 lbs making installation only a one person job. (A hitch pin is NOT included but can be purchased separately.) This style of cargo carrier will work with 2", class III or greater hitch receivers. Trailer hitch receivers recessed up to 6.5" can use this carrier too! Optional 1-1/4" - 2" adapters are available to allow the carrier to work in class II receivers. Included with the cargo hitch carrier is a 1 year warranty! Cargo Carrier Product Limitations:

• Never exceed the maximum tongue rating of your trailer hitch
• Vehicle Hauling Capacity: Your hauling weight may be limited by your vehicle's suspension to carry a load
• Not recommended for hitches less than 12" from the ground to the bottom of the hitch without the use of a hitch riser adapter
• Some vehicles may require air shocks or heavier springs to stiffen up the suspension to prevent sagging
