Haul your cargo and luggage on the hitch of your vehicle with the hitch mounted cargo carrier. This strong hitch carrier conveniently installs behind your vehicle and can support up to 500 pounds cargo. The trailer hitch carrier has steel mesh and raised 2.¾" plate sides. You can secure your load to the 12 drilled holes placed on each side of the hitch carrier to attach cargo nets or bungee cords. Each trailer hitch carrier comes disassembled, and with a 10mm and 17mm wrench and socket, assembly is quick and easy. Bright red reflective stickers help during night-time driving to make your hitch mounted cargo carrier seeable. Use this cargo basket on a Class 2 receiver with the 1-1/4" to 2" hitch adaptor (sold separately below). Four different sizes of cargo nets are available to secure all your loads (sold separately-see below).

Hitch Mounted Cargo Carrier Product Limitations:

Never exceed the maximum tongue rating of your trailer hitch
Vehicle Hauling Capacity: Your hauling weight may be limited by your vehicle's suspension to carry a load
Not recommended for hitches less than 12" from the ground to the bottom of the hitch without the use of a hitch riser adapter
Some vehicles may require air shocks or heavier springs to stiffen up the suspension to prevent sagging
