This Tilt-a-Rack transports a power wheelchair or scooter from the rear of your vehicle with ease utilizing a Class III or IV hitch. Operating by the natural force of gravity, the deck extension ramp pulls out and with a pull from the handle the carrier tilts itself into the loading position. The user friendly Tilt-a-Rack conveniently reaches the curb for parallel parking and reduces the angle of incline which is especially helpful when a handicap curb is not present. This mobility scooter carrier is available in weight capacities up to 500 lbs.
Aluminum lightweight construction
Solid deck surface protects underside of mobility device from outdoor elements
The Tilt-a-Rack carrier can transport a power wheelchair or scooter with ease right on the back of your vehicle. Its patented tilt design allows easy loading and unloading on any curbside or flat surface.
The new Lightweight Aluminum Tilt-a-Rack® Scooter Carrier is easy to install and use. There are no electronic components that might fail and it operates by a natural force, gravity! Gravity and balance work for you!
The tilt feature eliminates the need for ramps. Just pull out the deck extension ramp, remove a safety clip, and pull the tilt handle, and the rack tilts toward the passenger side. It conveniently reaches the curb for parallel parking. The deck extender pulls out from beneath the scooter, reducing the angle of incline. This feature is especially helpful when a handicap curb is not available.
The solid deck carrier surface will protect the underside of the scooter or power wheelchair from the outdoor elements. The pinch bolt eliminates the minute movement of the hitch bar when inside the hitch receiver. There are many optional accessories available to customize your Tilt-a-Rack carrier. Includes a 1 year warranty.

Yes, it is clumsy and hard for one person to handle but it is big enough to get our job done. I'm over 70 and I assembled it in an hour and can mount it on my Suburban alone. I wanted it to handle a 32 inch snowblower and it is perfect for the use. Were I wheelchair bound I can understand that it would be difficult if not impossible but then the only real answer is electric lift. Discountramps.com was great...James helped me pick the right one (500ARV); arrived in 4 days in perfect condition (UPS). I am very impressed.

Will built and easy to use. Quick shipping. Good value.
I am suspecting that I got a returned item. The spring loaded pin on the license plate holder was broken off the plate holder. one of the ramp stops was partially mounted on the ramp and the other was in the box. The shipping container was missing a strap and the box was punctured with a 10 inch hole taped over. Other that, I assembled the ramp and I am using it for the first day of our trip.
*Damaged most likely occurred in shipping with hole being taped.

I bought a Mini-Ramp in June 2014. I have two power chairs, a Jazzy Select Elite (161 lbs) and a Jazzy 1121 (265 lbs). This Ramp work well for the smaller chair but the heavy chair was too much for it. The mfg rates this ramp at 350 lbs, which is wrong. It should be rated at 200 lbs. I would recommend Discount Ramps as an excellent company to do business with. They exchanged this ramp with a bigger one.
4 StarsGreat product, easy setup.

Picked this rack up today and installed it an a little over an hour. Some minor assembly was required but it went together very easy and fast. Appears to be very well made and looks sharp on the back of my pickup. The only reason I gave this 4 stars rather then 5 is due to one thing I did not like, but there is an easy fix to it, what I found is that when the rack is in the upright position, while not being used, it covers the passenger side brake and tail lights. I will be installing a set of LED trailer lights to the back an underside of the rack to fix this issue.

Big, clumsy, ramp is a Bear to slide in and out. Poor pics and I have no idea how to install the license plate bracket or lights. Hardly a one person ramp.
